Style for consecutive links I like it. SE will automatically update the numbers too. |

Style for consecutive links @PaĆloEbermann, I realized that a while later, hehe. I hadn't seen that specific question so I assumed it was newer. |

CipherCloud DMCA notice As an interesting side note CipherCloud's website appears to be down today. |

Request: Please make takedown notice public, and upload it to Chilling Effects Seems like the best way to avoid further DMCA's is remove the images (already done), add qualifiers to the beginning of every answer that says "NOTE: CipherCloud does not publish the details of their algorithms, so the below is speculation by smart people." |

Request: Please make takedown notice public, and upload it to Chilling Effects I like it. "Trust us, we aren't doing what you are saying we are doing." I can't find the patent info. Too bad. I'd be surprised if the screenshots are not legal under fair use. IANAL. |

Request: Please make takedown notice public, and upload it to Chilling Effects @MichaelPryor has requested that we close this so that all SE inc can have a canonical place to respond to this type of request they will all be in the same place here is the current place for reference. Marking it as off topic seems less than perfect, but probably the best option. |

Request: Please make takedown notice public, and upload it to Chilling Effects Once we know exactly what the takedown said we can figure out 1) how to modify the answers to not be in voliation, 2) if necessary submit a counter-claim that there was no copyright violation. I've contacted the SE contact who deleted the question. I'll keep you posted. |

Implementation List Questions They are answerable if an implementation exists. Otherwise it is hard for anyone to say "no, no implementation exists". Also, if I say yes implementation X exists and you say implementation Y exists, how do you evaluate the two answers? |

Should we use SSL on our website? What are the benefits of SSL on a site like this? All the content is publically available anyways. Login credentials (not username/password as that page is protected, but say a session cookie, etc) might be one thing, but I'm not even sure if that is necessary (I don't know all the specifics of OpenID). |

Should we name our chat room? @CodesInChaos, probably not, but there is a minimum character limit for an answer, so a lot of the room names might not be allowed as an individual answer unless we add some extra text to the answer. Perhaps that is better than the current practice though. |
